						Claimed one Fw-190 destroyed near Asch during this mission. Air Kill was witnessed by my wingman F/O 'Mac' Steele who also managed to damage one Me-109. Unfortunately, Yellow section, led by F/Lt 'Madov' Emblin was KIA during this mission.

						Today we had 02 early sorties cancelled due to the muddy runway. The rain last night did a number on our airfield so we were grounded most of the morning. We had to take off, however, a bit later in a hurry when S/L received Intel suggesting the presence of armored vehicles around Eindhoven. I led flight B to the attack but our bombs missed miserably as the enemy desperately moved the vehicles under trees and hedgerows to cover from our approach ... At least we all made it back safely.

						Destroyed 03 enemy 109s during this operation after a fierce turnfight. Despite the comfortable control we currently afford at this stage of the war, some enemy pilots still put up great resistance.
