Rules and Regulations
- The squadron is nominally commanded by the Officer Commanding (OC) and in his absence by the Second-in-Command (2i/c).
This is mainly for representational and ceremonial purposes. They are responsible for the adherence to the
founding principles of the squadron.
- When flying on a public server, the rules of the server must be followed. No exploits, cheats or unauthorized mods shall be used.
- As of today, the latest official version of IL-2 Sturmovik: Great Battles is used.
The preferred realism setting is "Full Real".
- New members can be of any skill or experience level. The only requirements are:
- The member has good enough English language skills to enable effective communication.
- The member shows the willingness to express the mentality of a WW2 RAF fighter pilot in order to create an immersive experience.
- Every new member needs to pass through a trial period before they are commissioned and receive the full membership.
- The pilot name and callsign choosen by the member needs to be appropriate for the historical context.
- The camouflage, colours and markings of the personal aircraft shall follow the Air Ministry Order
applicable for the given date.
- At no time a member shall show any offensive or inappropriate behaviour that would discredit the member and the squadron.
- Every member needs to participation in training or operational flying on average at least once per week.
- Flying training every Wednesday 9 p.m. (CET/CEST)
- Optional: Public dogfight every Friday or Saturday 9 p.m. (CET/CEST)
- Campaign missions every Sunday 9 p.m. (CET/CEST)
