Flight Sergeant (F/Sgt) |

The rank insignia is three downward pointing chevrons below a crown. The rank is held by all new members during the trail period. Upon receiving the full membership they are commissioned. |
Pilot Officer (Plt Off) |

The rank insignia consists of a thin blue band on slightly wider black band. This is worn on both the lower sleeves of the tunic or on the shoulders of the flying suit or the casual uniform. A Pilot Officer usually is the No. 2 of a section and only in exceptional cases the leader of a section. |
Flying Officer (Fg Off) |

The rank insignia consists of one narrow blue band on slightly wider black band. This is worn on both the lower sleeves of the tunic or on the shoulders of the flying suit or the casual uniform. A Flying Officer usually is the leader of a section or the No. 2 of a section. |
Flight Lieutenant (Flt Lt) |

The rank insignia consists of two narrow blue bands on slightly wider black bands. This is worn on both the lower sleeves of the tunic or on the shoulders of the flight suit or the casual uniform. A Flight Lieutenant usually is the leader of a flight or a section. |
Squadron Leader (Sqn Ldr) |

The rank insignia consists of a thin blue band on a slightly wider black band between two narrow blue bands on slightly wider black bands. This is worn on both the lower sleeves of the tunic or on the shoulders of the flying suit or the casual uniform. A Squadron Leader usually is the leader a squadron or a flight.They are allowed to depict the Squadron Leaders' command flag on their personal aircraft. |
Wing Commander (Wg Cdr) |

The rank insignia consists of three narrow light blue bands over slightly wider black bands. This is worn on both the lower sleeves of the tunic or on the shoulder of the flying suit or the casual uniform. A Wing Commander usually is the leader of a wing or a squadron. They are allowed to wear the Wing Commanders' command pennant on their personal aircraft and use their own initials as aircraft identification letters. |
