Another dark and snowy mission in strong winds and bad visibility. Destroyed plenty of E/A at Cologne.

Multiple engagements with enemy 109s including when 'A' Flight recovered to base. Three pilots lost, one of them P/O Bird was killed by E/A over the home base.-
