General Report

Flight codenamed BUMPER was led by me and tasked with attacking armored vehicles in the vicinity of De Rips airbase. We approached target from the northwest as per intel rteceived earlier this morning but the armored vehilcles were too spread out and in veru different psoitions than expected. Our attack run went well and I could see my bombs detonating about 1m from what looked like a tiger tank and soon after I could see it in flames. During egress, we were attacked by a group of mixed 190s and 109s and S/Ldr 'Skipper' Merfort was hit pretty hard and crashed into the ground. I managed to hit one Me-109 behind him but couldnt determine if the damage was lethal. I spent the next 5 min in a frantic dogfight with another 109 and managed to fend him off. As I approached the city Veghel, I spotted a Fw-190 egressing to their lines at about Angels 15. I order the flight to engage and I managed to take his rudder off during the engagement, forcing the enemy to bail out. The rest of the flight RTBed safely.
