Took off from Ophoven again and headed for another defensive sweep at Venlo. BUMPER engaged enemy fighter group en route to target area and got split up. I did not score any kills myself, but I heard over the R/T that there were 2 enemy fighters killed and F/O 'Mac' Steele was able to put down an Me 110! Shortly after I heard that he was bailing out over the city. The rest of us RTB'd to Ophoven and landed successfully. | ||
