General Report

I was tasked with leading BUMPER flight with F/O 'Zach' Z. Lamothe as my wingman to patrol the area of Nijmegen. However, about 20 miles from objective, Radio Controller requested support over the area of Heesch where in quickly intercepted a large He-110 formation. F/O 'Zach' Z. Lamothe and I damaged 02 He-111s but our planes sustained some minor damage which forced us to RTB earlier than expected. During our egress to base we encountered a Me-110, probably conducting recon nearby, and F/O 'Zach' Z. Lamothe swiftly dispatched the enemy. Both planes reamained on base for repairs.
