Flight took off under the callsign BUMPER with F/Lt 'Riksen' Richards as leader and F/O 'Mac' Steele and F/O 'Zach' Z. Lamothe as wingmen. The flight was tasked with patrolling the air space and conducting advanced fighter sweep around the area of Venlo where an American supply column was moving to. Sortie went quite well and F/O 'Zach' Z. Lamothe was able to score an AK against a Me-109 with me contributing to another Me-109 kill moments later. The the flight was forced to retire earlier, however, due to F/O 'Mac' Steele suffering considerable damage to his plane in combat. | ||
