P/O 'Al' A. Lamothe Red flight led by myself with F/O 'Zach' Z. Lamothe on my wing and blue flight led by F/Lt 'Riksen' Richards and P/O 'Al' A. Lamothe , conducted a ground attack mission in Plattenberg. En route to our target, the flight was jumped by a 109 which allured blue flight to break off and deal with the bandit as red flight pressed the attack on the ground troops. We scored no confirmed kills unfortunately. Blue flight however was much more successful having shot down a 109. 'Bumper' continued on with a sweep where we found ourseleves over Hagen where blue flight engaged enemy aircraft. P/O 'Al' A. Lamothe received extensive damage and we had to RTB. We landed with no further enemy action being seen | ||
