General Report

Took off from Y-54 to conduct a sweep with myself leading and P/O Z. Lamothe as wingman. We spotted several bandits over Bonn and engaged but quickly realized that we were outnumbered and turned for friendly lines. During our withdrawal, I was engaged by a 109 but I went into a spin to let him overshoot and I shot him down upon recovering. I sustained minor damage to my right wing. It was decided that B flight would RTB. While en route to our field, a 109 attempted to attack my damaged craft but was scared off by Zach. We both RTB successfully.
