B Flight tasked with a defensive patrol over Hertogenbosch. Flight leader F/Lt 'Riksen' Richards, F/O 'Mac' Steele (Red 2) and myself (Red 3). Takeoff was completed successfully without indecent and flight to objective was otherwise uneventful. We arrived at the objective where we were jumped by a small group of enemy fighters. Our flight leader F/Lt 'Riksen' Richards took damage and therefore we disengaged and were able to cover and RTB successfully to refuel and rearm. | ||
