Flight B conducted a defensive patrol from B. 77. Friendly unit's had reportedly withdrawn so the mission was cancelled. Not wanting to waste fuel for a meaningless flight we conducted a sweep over Hertogenbosch defences where we encountered several aircraft comprising of 190's and 109's. Fg O Richards took rather extensive enemy fire which put Flight B into a defensive posture. We then disengaged and escaped the hun to escort our flight leader back to B. 77 where we then landed and rearmed to again take on the hun. | ||
