I was Leader of Red Section in a dive-bombing mission to destroy a bridge over the Rhine. My bombs went long and failed to hit the target. During the landing approach, I spotted several bandits trying to bounce us. I ordered to abort the landing. They apparently were diverted by the defence fire and headed back to Cologne area. I started to chase 2 Fw 190 and later 4 of them with +25 boost until I was in range to open fire on the tail-end-charlie. After 2 or 3 bursts with the canons, big pieces well away and the target entered a spin. I continued with the chase and did set the next one on fire with several long bursts of the .5s. The next 190 was close by so I fired the remaining .5 rounds on it and then continued with the canons until black smoke emerged and it started to burn. It took some time to see At first, I didn't see the remaining 190 so was heading back to base. But then I saw it slightly below me.
