10. Summary of Pilot's Report |
Landed at Gilze Airfield on the active. Slippery and treacherous conditions were expected and experienced with the runway being exceedingly slippery to the slightest touch of wheel brakes. Slowed down after touching down nicely but ground looped the aircraft at slow speed causing the port wing to contact with the concrete runway and broke the port airleron to break off. I continued to taxi off the runway and round to the a/c recovery apron in front of the ruined hangar. |
