10. Summary of Pilot's Report

Transferred to Volkel for an intel-led combat defensive area patrol, after having engaged and destroyed 3 enemy a/c this this aircraft was overheating and almost out of ammunition and was being chased by a group of enemy. Pilot decided to ditch his aircraft in a field on the safe side of the front line. Port wing broken and damage to propellor and hub. Classified as class B and can be repaired back at Group rear echelon depot.
