86Spitfire IXEB-XSM226SelfOffensive Sweep from B.60 . B flight took off from B.60 to sweep the bombline and defend nearby ground units from enemy. Engaged enemy east of Antwerp but was attacked by a friendly P-51 forcing B flight to disengage. B flight pushed on in their sweep and engaged a low flying aircraft with Mac remaining higher for cover. Shortly thereafter B flight was swarmed by 5 enemy aircraft; was overpowered and shot down.-

811Spitfire IXEB-XSM226SelfGround Attack from A-89. Conducted an attack on a train transporting munitions and troops to the front. Locomotive and all cars were destroyed southeast of Wassenburg. One enemy aircraft shot down at the loss of one. -
