Engaged enemy east of Antwerp but was attacked by a friendly P-51 forcing B flight to disengage. B flight pushed on in their sweep and engaged a low flying aircraft with Mac remaining higher for cover. Shortly thereafter B flight was swarmed by 5 enemy aircraft; was overpowered and shot down.-
