92Spitfire IXEB-NSM207SelfOperational from Gilze. Patrol sector Charlie (in the vicinity of Gorinchem) as ordered.F1890h 45
Another busy day today as the RAF continues the attempts to keep aerial superiority behind enemy lines. I commanded flight BUMPER with S/Ldr 'Skipper' Merfort assisting with his flight. We had 02 dogfights breakout near the target area and I managed to shoot down 02 additional Me-109s and damage another Fw-190. Unfortunately, rookie pilot P/O 'Wookie' Kaczmarek did not make it back.
95Spitfire IXEB-NSM207SelfIntercept from Ophoven. BUMPER flight was tasked with intercepting enemy contacts over Venlo.F1910h 35
95Spitfire IXEB-NSM207SelfOffensive Sweep from Ophoven. Fighter sweep over Venlo as order to protect Allied supply train headed to the city.F1920h 55
I've now added 02 additional Me-109s to my tally. 12 confirmed kills so far in this war and not even a single comment from High Command. I'm starting to think they might have something against me or maybe are too busy celebrating in Paris behind their desks while people are dying here in the frontline ...
95Spitfire IXEB-NSM207SelfGround Attack from B.60. Dive-bombing a tank division HQ north-east of Antwerp.F1950h 55
One additional Me-109 destroyed today around the port of Antwerp.

915Spitfire IXEB-NSM207SelfDefensive Patrol from Tangmere (Zaporo in Game). Unit tasked with protecting the Munitions supply over Normandy.F2040h 30
Haven't been able to write lately ... We have been so busy conducting patrols and assisting in protecting our assets over Nazi territory that I can barely find the strength to lift a pencil. Today's operation was a difficult one but I manage to get most of my pilots back home to safety whil shooting down 02 Me-109s and damage one Ju-88. F/O 'Zach' Z. Lamothe who was shot down during operation, thankfully, returned to our base later on today ... That is definitely a big reason to celebrate tonight ...
920Spitfire IXEB-NSM207SelfGround Attack from B.77. KUDOS tasked with ground attack enemy defensive positions in Zijderveld.F2070h 20
920Spitfire IXEB-NSM207SelfGround Attack from B.77. Unit tasked with attacking enemy defenses around Zijderveld.F2080h 30
Today's operation was a total disaster. We were forced to ditch our bombs just south of the target in both attempts and got entangled in a massive dogfight. I managed to shoot down 03 enemy 109s but was forced to bail out and face my friend's scorched corpse when I tried to rescue him from his burning Spitfire ... Another huge loss to our unit and an awful memory that I will carry for the rest of my life ... How long can one person take before he breaks? Thats what I keep asking myself ...
